A small figure drifts through a field of blue currents, holding a red guitar like a signal. Photographed on a black-and-white floor, the painting is paired with a typed poem about noise, warmth, and learning to love more.
Poem transcription
Exotic, him
Your eyelids, flutters
Like my anxious heart in a thunder
it once built a home inside my mind
this time, i hope its not a blunder
bold strokes of my graphite on the paper,
Engraved on my heart; your hands
This time its not flaming red, feisty or stubborn
its something chaotic and blind,
Just like thunder.
You look warm, vivid
Like my eyeballs in the sunsets
Shall it be compared to a summer's day?
somehow you don't feel so temperate, but a wind and beam that stirs
maybe a warm soul lost in this cold world
learning to love more,
to give more
just like thunder.
